Rianto, from Lombok, is a Divemaster with a passion for the healthy soft corals at Turtle Heaven, his favorite dive site. He’s motivated by the opportunity to dive close to home and continually improve his skills. Rianto is always working on becoming a better diver and developing himself in all areas. One of his coolest underwater experiences was encountering a manta ray.

Friends describe him as a good man, and a fun fact about Rianto is that he can’t open his eyes when he’s sleeping! Outside of diving, he loves playing online games. His dream dive destination is Thailand, and he hopes to one day swim with wild sharks. After a dive, he enjoys Lalapan Indonesian food and hot milk.

His personal mantra? “Control your mind because everything can change at any time.”
